- The reason I started to do “GUTTERSNIPE ART” I stopped calling it graffiti art because the media portrays it as something evil and generalizes the whole subject with gang marking there territory and vandalism. “I paint to keep my mind sane” Painting bring a clarity that is additive. When you draw, sketch, or paint you only think about the task at hand and it clears you mind about the world around you. It even heightens my sense of hearing. For a few hours a day I am at peace. There is tranquility in a world of chaos and turmoil. This is the reason I create I love to feel this clarity. I don’t paint for fame or for money or peer recognition. I do sell my canvases but if you break down the hours, the materials, I usually just break even to continue my passion to create. This is why street artist don’t know there addicted to create. We are all just trying to find peace.
